The International Conference on Sustainable Engineering Practices (IConSEP) is an annual forum to exchange ideas, achievements, experiences and information addressing environmental issues related to the engineering practices among academics, researchers, engineers, manufacturers and postgraduate scholars around the world. It aims to become an event to discuss and evaluate the latest methods, approaches and innovative technologies to improve environmental quality when applying them in engineering works.

Faculty of Engineering, Sam Ratulangi University, Indonesia, has been hosting this conference since 2018. In this 2nd conference, we invite you again to submit papers related to this year’s theme: “Strengthening the Role of Engineering in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

Papers will be considered from a wide range of Engineering field and topics that support this year’s theme, including but not limited to the following fields:

  1. Civil and Enviromental Engineering: Sustainable structure and green construction, risk-safety construction management, eco drainage and natural waterways, urban water supply, and distribution, natural disaster mitigation, rehabilitation and management, land and water conservation, sustainable geotechnical engineering practices, environmental management and modelling, sustainable transportation and urban infrastructure, mass transportation system.
  2. Architecture and Urban Planning: Sustainable architecture design, green building and green architecture, eco-architecture, urban planning, urban design, landscape design, green infrastructure, sustainable eco-settlement.
  3. Electrical Engineering and Informatics: sustainable and assistive computing, computing and environmental issues, sustainability through artificial intelligence and machine learning, IT practices toward better smart city, medical informatics, biomedical engineering and telemedicine, renewable energy and green power, innovations in robotics technology, practices in industrial processing, disaster recovery management, bioinformatics, IT-based sustainable learning (online and blended learning).
  4. Mechanical and Industrial Engineering: product design and manufacturing for sustainability, engineering aspects of circular economy, performance evaluation for sustainability, additive and rapid manufacturing for sustainability, sustainable engineering materials, vibration and signal processing, Sustainable power generation, Sustainable cooling engineering, System optimization and design, Innovation and quality engineering, Biomechanical engineering.
